Our stool test is a powerful tool that analyzes your intestinal microbiota and detects microbes that may be disturbing
normal microbial balance or contributing to illness. These include indicators of digestion, absorption, inflammation, and immune function. The results provide a measure called CFUs, or colony forming units, that tell you how much of certain strains you have per gram in your stool. This allows your practitioner to see if you are under or over standard levels for common strains of bacteria associated with positive health or disease.
